Having checked various sources, Nick scored only 2 league goals for Liverpool, though he got several more in cup games.

"During Nick's time at Hull City, he has been constantly played out of position by both Peter Taylor and Phil Parkinson (who played Nick on the bench). Nick's ability and style of play is undoubtedly more suited to a role just behind the front two acting as the midfield playmaker."

I would actually tend to agree with this opinion, but it is an opinion, and this is an encyclopaedia not a messageboard. See Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view.
