Talk:Nicholas Shehadie
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Both in this article, and the article for Nicholas Shehadie's wife, Marie Bashir, he is referred to as Sir Nicholas Shehadie and a reference is made to his wife choosing not to use the title of Lady Shehadie. However, as Nicholas Shehadie is an OBE, and not a KBE or higher, he does not have the right to use the title Sir, nor is his wife entitled to be referred to as Lady Shehadie. Wrong. "Sir Nicholas" is correct as he is indeed an AC and OBE, but is also a Knight Bachelor, which is a knighthood that confers no post-nominals.124.186.39.222 05:20, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
