According to some sources he was Senior Wrangler but the obituary in The Gentleman's Magazine clearly states eighth. Richard Pinch 08:01, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

The page name should be changed to Nicolas Conyngham Tindal. This was a family name and the spelling is recorded in DNB and Burke's Landed Gentry Francis Hoar
