Nicopolis (Greek for "city of victory"), may refer to:
- Nicopolis in Epirus, founded in 31 BC by Caesar Augustus, is probably the best-known
- a city in Asia Minor, founded by Leo III in 740, on the spot where he defeated an Arab army (modern Afyonkarahisar)
- a city in Cappadocia in the valley of the Lycus, founded by Pompey on the spot where he defeated Mithridates
- a city in Egypt, founded by Augustus in 24 BC to commemorate his final victory over Mark Antony
- Nicopolis ad Istrum, a city in Thrace (modern Bulgaria), founded by Trajan.
- Nicopolis ad Nestum, ruins of which are at modern Garmen in Bulgaria
- a Roman name for the refounded city of Emmaus in 221 AD
- Nikopolis, a medieval city in Bulgaria. The major Battle of Nicopolis was fought there in 1396.
