Nicolet (provincial electoral district)

Nicolet was a provincial electoral district in the province of Quebec, Canada. Situated in the Montérégie region, the district was formed in 1867 and was later merged in 1973 with Yamaska to form Nicolet-Yamaska.
The riding was named in honour of French explorer Jean Nicolet who also worked for the Company of One Hundred Associates in the 17th century.
