Nicole Milinaire-Russell, Duchess of Bedford (born 29 June 1920, Paris) was a French television producer in the 1950s. She was the associate producer of Sheldon Reynolds television series Sherlock Holmes and of the 1951-1954 series, Foreign Intrigue. She produced the 1957 series Dick and the Duchess (which starred Patrick O'Neal and Hazel Court).
Born as Nicole Marie Charlotte Pierette Jeanne Schneider[1], she was the third and last wife of the Duke of Bedford. They were wed from 1960 until his death in 2002. It was a happy marriage; his third and her second.
Nichole was the eldest child of Paul Schneider, a WWI flying Ace[2], and Marguerite Durand of the Crouzet des Roches family on her mother's side[3]. Shortly after turning eighteen years old Nicole's parents informed her she would be married that December to Henri Milinaire, a man 14 years older than herself[4]. With Henri she became the mother of four children: Didier, Caterine, Gilles, and Anyes. The marriage was never happy and she divorced him in 1956[5].
