Nicole Marie Fugere (born September 25, 1986) started modeling at 9 months old, following in her sisters' footsteps. She discovered an interest in acting at age seven, and started taking classes at the Northwest Children's Theater in Portland, Oregon. Her first lead role was in the production of Ramona of Klickitat Street, and has since appeared in many commercials, industrials, and infomercials. Her first film role was in the Spanish-language Cosas que nunca te dije ("Things I Never Told You") in 1997.
Nicole was selected to play the role of Wednesday Addams for the 1998 straight-to-video movie Addams Family Reunion after spending the summer of 1997 auditioning in Los Angeles. She was later cast again as Wednesday for The New Addams Family, an updated version of the 1960s series that aired on Canadian network The Family Channel from 1998 to 1999, and she appeared in nearly all of the program's 65 episodes.
