Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (born Nicolas Dupont, March 7, 1961 in Paris) is a French eurosceptic politician. A member of the National Assembly from the Essonne département, he was a member of the right-wing UMP party until January 2007, and now heads his own party, Debout la République ("let the Republic stand up").

He intended to run in the 2007 French presidential election, but withdrew his candidacy on 16 March 2007 after failing to gather the necessary 500 signatures of elected officials.
