Nicolás de Jesús López Rodríguez

Nicolás de Jesús Cardinal López Rodríguez (born October 31, 1936 in Barranca, Dominican Republic) is the current archbishop of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and a cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church.
He earned degree in in social science from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum).
He was one of the cardinal electors who participated in the 2005 papal conclave that selected Pope Benedict XVI.
