Nico Sacchetti

Nico Sacchetti (born August 21, 1989 in Virginia, Minnesota, United States) is an ice hockey player. The Dallas Stars picked him 50th overall in the second round in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft
In his freshman season Sacchetti helped the Virginia Blue Devils make the state tournament, Sacchetti had 23 goals and 21 assists in 24 games, as a sophomore Sacchetti had in 25 games 25 goals 44 assists. In his junior season he had 38 goals 52 assists.
Sacchetti has committed to the University of Minnesota for the 2008–2009 season.
Sacchetti also was drafted in the 2006 USHL Futures draft by the Indiana Ice.
On June 25th, 2007 the Indiana Ice traded Sacchetti's USHL rights to the Omaha Lancers.
Sacchetti played for the 2006 Under 18 Junior World Cup US team, he had 1 goal and 1 assist in four games.
