Nico Mirallegro

Nico Cristian Mirallegro (born 1991 Manchester, England) [1] is a teenage British actor who, since 22 October 2007 has been playing the role of Barry "Newt" Newton on the British TV drama Hollyoaks.
His mother is Greek and father English he is half Greek, A native of Manchester, Nico Mirallegro portrays Newt as an 'emo' personality who is the foster child of Jack and Frankie Osbourne. In a backstage video produced by Channel 4, Mirallegro insists that he is nothing like his character [2] who wears a wig and fake lip piercing. Prior to winning the role, he was a student, starting in February 2007, at the Manchester School of Acting.
Mirallegro is also good friends with and shares a flat with co-star Chris Fountain.
