Nick Stienstra (24 December 1954 - 7 June 1989 in Paramaribo) was a Dutch-Suriname footballer and coach. During his career he served SV Robinhood. He died at the age of 33, when on June 7, 1989 he was killed in the Surinam Airways Flight PY764 air crash in Paramaribo.

In his playing career Stienstra played at SV Robinhood before he moved to the Netherlands where he was unable to become a signing of a professional football club. However he was determined to become a successful coach instead and followed a study to become a football coach. In the meanwhile he was already coaching amateur side RCH from Heemstede. One of his ambitions was to return to Suriname to develop the Surinamese football in a professional way.

He was invited by Sonny Hasnoe, the founder of the Colourful 11 to be the coach of the team and travel to Suriname to manage the team in the "Boxel Kleurrijk Tournament" with three Surinamese teams. The Surinam Airways Flight PY764 crashed during approach to Paramaribo-Zanderij International Airport, killing 176 of the 187 on-board, including Stienstra, making it the worst ever aviation disaster in Suriname's history. Among the deads were a total of 15 members of the Colourful 11, only three of them survived. He was the only victim of the crash that was buried in Suriname.
