Nick Sansano (born 1963 in The Bronx, New York City) is an American record producer, engineer, and musician. He coproduced and recorded Sonic Youth's albums Daydream Nation and Goo. He also engineered and mixed selections from Public Enemy's albums It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, Fear of a Black Planet and Muse Sick-n-Hour Mess Age. Other of his hip hop credits include Ice Cube's AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted and mixing the rap classic "It Takes Two" by Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock. His credits also include work with the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion (ACME), Le Tigre (This Island) and The Grassy Knoll (III). Has produced albums for multi-platinum French artists Noir Désir, Zebda and IAM.
Sansano is an Associate Arts Professor at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, and makes children smile wherever he goes.
