Nick Massi

Nick Massi (born Nicholas Macioci, September 19, 1935 - December 24, 2000) was the bass singer and bass guitarist for the Four Seasons. He was born in Newark, New Jersey. Some sources list his birth year as 1927.

Massi had been playing with several bands before joining The Four Lovers in 1959. After the group evolved into the Four Seasons, they performed such hits as "Sherry", "Dawn (Go Away)", and "Rag Doll". Massi left the Four Seasons in 1965 and was replaced temporarily by Charles Calello who in turn was replaced by Joe Long.

He succumbed to cancer in 2000 at his home in West Orange, New Jersey.
