Nick Lyon

Nick Lyon is a Los Angeles-based director and writer and a native of Portland, Oregon.
Nick Lyon spent 9 years in Germany where he attended the Film Academy Baden-Wurtemburg in Ludwigsburg, Germany. After graduating film school, Nick Lyon went on to direct Academy Award winner Maximilian Schell, in "I Love You, Baby", a thriller produced by Warner Bros. Germany. which was theatrically released in 2000. From 2001 to 2005, Nick resided between Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon where he finished his second feature, "Punk Love", which won "Best Feature" in Roma Independent Film Festival, "The DGA Directors Award" at Moondance 06, and "Best Actor" at the 2007 Drake International Film Festival in Caserta, Italy. In 2006, Nick Lyon directed "Grendel" for NBC/Universal/ Sci Fi and Species: The Awakening for MGM with Frank Mancuso Jr. producing. Nick Lyon resides in West Hollywood, California.
