Nick Love

Nick Love (born December 24, 1969) is a British film director and writer. Love came to public attention in the UK after making the films The Football Factory and The Business. His most recent film, Outlaw starring Sean Bean, Bob Hoskins and Danny Dyer was released in March 2007. Love was married to Eastender's actress Patsy Palmer for four months, who also starred in his short film 'Love Story' as a pregnant heroin addict. He has two 'Millwall' tattoos, including one on the inside of his bottom lip.

Love was born in London, England. He worked briefly as a model but quit after one year. One of his earliest jobs in the film industry was acting in the film Place in 1993. In 1998 he worked as a dialogue editor on the film Les Misérables, and a year later directed his first production for television, a short film entitled Love Story, which starred Jamie Foreman and Patsy Palmer. Love is known to have a strong friendship with actor Danny Dyer, with the two collaborating on many of Love's films, including Goodbye Charlie Bright, The Football Factory, The Business and Outlaw. The next film he is planning to direct is a modern film adaptation of 70's cop show The Sweeney.
