Nick Kosovich

Nick Kosovich is a professional ballroom dancer specializing with American Smooth/Ten Dance, and is noted for his participation in ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Australian by nationality, Nick resides in New York with his wife and dance partner Lena Bacheva. They recently retired from competition, however he achieved many awards in his career. An internationally respected figure in the Ballroom world, Nick Kosovich competed for 30 years before his recent retirement. He has competed in seven Professional World Championship events, and before retiring from competition earlier this year he won the United States American Smooth Championships and finished second in the 2004 World Classic Showdance Championships.
Kosovich has appeared in several movies, most recently Shall We Dance? and also in Everyone Says I Love You, Blue in the Face and Only with You. He has also appeared on numerous TV network shows. Nick partnered with actress Tatum O'Neal in Season 2 of Dancing with the Stars. They were the second couple voted off, coming in 9th place. In Season 3, he was partnered with actress Vivica A. Fox until their elimination in the 4th week.
He and wife Lena are the owners and operators of LeNique, a ballroom costume company. Recently, the Kosovichs relocated to Beverly Hills, California since they are under contract to make the costumes for all of the male professionals on Dancing with the Stars.
