Nick Bremigan

Nicholas Gregory Bremigan (April 4, 1945 - March 28, 1989) was an American umpire in Major League Baseball who worked in the American League from 1974 until his death. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bremigan grew up in Rochester, New York. He officiated in the 1980 World Series and in the American League Championship Series in 1977, 1981, 1983 and 1986, serving as crew chief in 1981. He also worked the All-Star games of 1979 and 1985. He died of a heart attack at age 43 in Garland, Texas, and was buried in Rochester.
