Nichols is a village in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 307 at the 2000 census.

Nichols is located at (44.564581, -88.464646)[3].
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.2 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 307 people, 122 households, and 75 families residing in the village. The population density was 355.8 people per square mile (137.8/km²). There were 130 housing units at an average density of 150.7/sq mi (58.4/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 91.86% White, 0.33% African American, 4.56% Native American, 0.33% Asian, 0.65% from other races, and 2.28% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.30% of the population.
There were 122 households out of which 36.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.6% were married couples living together, 9.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.5% were non-families. 28.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.52 and the average family size was 3.21.
In the village the population was spread out with 30.6% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 39.1% from 25 to 44, 15.6% from 45 to 64, and 6.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females there were 120.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 110.9 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $36,042, and the median income for a family was $45,000. Males had a median income of $29,583 versus $25,893 for females. The per capita income for the village was $15,898. About 3.9% of families and 3.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 3.2% of those under the age of eighteen and 11.1% of those sixty five or over.
