Nicholas T. Goldsborough

Nicholas T. Goldsborough is an independent fundraising consultant who was most recently the Managing Director of the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C.

Before joining the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Goldsborough held the position of Vice President of Capital Programs and Presentations for The Music Center of Los Angeles County where he was influential in its education programs and helped expand its dance presentations. Two of his campaigns for The Music Center raised more than $240 million for the construction of the Walt Disney Concert Hall and renovation of the Ahmanson Theatre. Mr. Goldsborough has also worked as Deputy Director of Development at UCLA, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer at C.W. Shaver and Company in New York, and at Harvard University.

In 2002, Goldsborough joined the Shakespeare Theatre Company where he oversaw the planning and construction of the Company’s new Harman Center for the Arts.
