Nicholas D'Agosto (born April 17, 1980) is an American television and film actor.
D'Agosto was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He was very involved in drama and theatre growing up, acting in many different plays and musicals. He attended Creighton Preparatory School in Omaha and graduated in 1998. His big break came when he was cast as the ethical committee chairman Larry Fouch in the dark teenage comedy Election in 1999. The film was written and directed by Alexander Payne, another alumnus of Creighton Prep.
D'Agosto attended college at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, obtaining bachelor degrees in both history and theatre. In 2002, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time acting career. Since then, he has had roles on shows such as ER, Related, House, Six Feet Under and The Office. D'Agosto played the role of Hunter, Jan's assistant who is in a rock band. Hunter's song 'That One Night' implied a romantic relationship with Jan in the episode "Dinner Party". D'Agosto did not actually sing the song.
