[edit] Welcome
Welcome!
Hello, Niall1990, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV), and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.
There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me my talk page. Again, welcome! Nate1481(t/c) 11:11, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] WJJF
I would recommend not trying to localise it as it limits the notability of the article. Also please read the guidelines on the Neutral Point of View as some of the text you have used is very promotional in tone. Happy editing --Nate1481(t/c) 16:46, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

- I am trying to make the page read less like an advert, that will probably be deleted or more harshly edited by someone else. Also please note it is not 'your' page, it is an article in an encyclopaedia this page goes into more detail: Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. Please read it before you reverse my edits. --Nate1481(t/c) 18:06, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'm a first dan, I've been training with the wjjf for 7 years, hence me adding bits. I need to get to some of my books so I can reference some of what I've added, by the way the Budo-pass is full of interesting info at the back, and can be used as a reference for grading times and the like.
- On the copyright thing, you need to add some information on the copyright status of the images, the links in the standard warning tell you how, I think that the Pic of Clarke may have to go, as I'm almost certain its owned by the WJJF. The logo is acceptable for identification pictures, I may be able to add some other images including a pictures I've taken e.g. @ gradings to replace it.--Nate1481(t/c) 14:11, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 18:01, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
