Where was the Niagara River Formed????? Where Was it born???

No mention of being one of the only north-flowing rivers in North America? Vesperholly 17:58, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

It's not one of the only; there are hundreds of them. Pfly 01:31, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Meaning of "Niagara"

I just saw a PBS documentary about Niagara Falls and it was stated that "Niagara" comes from an American Indian word meaning "thunderous waters" or something similar. This should be verified and added to the article. Badagnani 02:19, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Map

Added a satellite image, which may count as a map, so I took out the "map needed" tag. Also added a bit on the meaning of "Niagara", which apparently doesn't mean "thundering waters". Pfly 03:46, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
