[edit] Comment

Unfortunatelly, given changes might be political, since the Serbian politicians are still in strong position of making the decision whether the carriers are allowed to operate from our airports or not?! Furthermore, it has nothing to do with personal opinions: all the changes were truth, only truth, and nothing but the truth. Allowing Nis Airport to do its job is an existential issue, regional issue, and Nis's issue, so everyone who thinks that it should not be the case (and on the other side is so interested in aviation) is not welcome, especially because Nis Airport is not located in Belgrade! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Accca (talkcontribs)

There is a lot of nice articles you can contribute with to Belgrade and Jat Airways, so why don't you pay attention and focus to Belgrade and leave Nis to its citizens? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.208.209.138 (talkcontribs)
I would like to answer to the above comment. This is an encyclopaedia and not where you put forward your political views. You do this when you go to vote. So instead stop vandalising, posting a Serbian article about Jat Airways on an English speaking encyclopaedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LukaP (talkcontribs)

[edit] Question

Can anyone tell me how you find out what airlines want to fly in and out of Nis Airport? And if the airport is got to be redveloped?? THANX --Euro.Serb 03:50, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Answer: News about the development of the airport and reconstruction has been followed closely by the Serbian media: newspapers and tv news. About Montenegro Airlines wanting to start service was found out from a recent press release while airlines currently serving the airport can be found on the airport’s website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LukaP (talkcontribs)

Hey thanx but I live in Adelaide and I dont have serb tv, newspapers or anything like that. I just have the internet but they say 1 thing but do another! but still thanx! --Euro.Serb 03:50, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Capacity

Hey people, does anyone know what the passenger capacity of the airport is, i know that it has a capacity of 3 aircrafts per hour but that is not the answer of my question? I have e-mailed the airport to ask them but they did not write anything back. If anyone knows it would be great. Thank You in advance! --Euro.Serb 03:50, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tivat and Heraklion

Does anyone know have and infomation about how well the fights are going between Nis to Tivat and Nis to Heraklion? I have heard the flights between Nis and Instanbul are profitable, is this true? --Euro.Serb 11:12, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Yes, apparently the Atlasjet flights are nearly filled on Sundays. I don't know much about the Tivat and Heraklion flights though. --Bolonium 12:23, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
That's really good news! I hope the other two flights are doing just as well. --Euro.Serb 11:46, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Has anyone noticed this [[1]] Montenegro Airlines actually operates flights from Nis like this TGD-BEG-TIV-INI and INI-TIV-ZRH and also Jat Airways goes INI-ZRH-BEG-ZRH-INI? --Euro.Serb 06:11, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
The Nis - Tivat line proved to be profitable, and flights will be going on after August 31. Montenegro Airlines is also thinking of opening a Nis - Podgorica line.[2] :) Just be sure to sign your comments... Sorry, ill be sure to sign my comments this time. Thats even better, this is heaps good for Nis. I'm pretty sure Montenegro Airlines will do the Nis - Podgorica flight. I find it weird that Montenegro Airlines is more interested in Nis than Jat airways... But that doesn't matter.--Euro.Serb 03:48, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
It's not that Jat Airways isn't interested; the airline used to operate a Nis - Vienna and a Nis - Stuttgart line. Those were canceled due to poor loads. Tivat, Heraklion, and Istanbul are just more popular destinations. --Bolonium 14:11, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Do you know if there are any new airlines interested in flying to Nis? I always have a feeling that Adria Airlines will start flights to Nis, but thats just me. Also when is Uzice airport opening? Do they have any airlines that are interested in having flights to the airport?--Euro.Serb 12:09, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Adria Airways can not start flights to Nis due to a (to my knowledge) some agreement they signed with Jat where Jat gets the Belgrade - Ljubljana line and Adria gets Ljubljana - Pristina. That is the limit and none of the two can open new lines to the others country. Nis is very difficult to make profitable from what I have been reading. Heraklion service by Jat is charter meaning the plane is leased by travel agents and operated by Jat so even if the flight is empty it goes ahead (but I don't think it is). Uzice will probably never get air traffic. It was never designed for it and it is a long way from opening. 121.209.249.208 12:57, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
If that agrement is true then why was Jat going to start flights to Portorož Airport?--Euro.Serb 11:35, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:MGX INI Tivat.jpg

Image:MGX INI Tivat.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
