NHL 2Night was a TV show that had highlights of National Hockey League games five nights a week on ESPN2. It was usually broadcast live at midnight eastern time (9 PM pacific) or immediately following an NHL telecast on ESPN2. It was then re-broadcast a few times throughout the night and following day.
The show debuted in 1995. The show was originally hosted by Bill Pidto and then later John Buccigross. Barry Melrose was the main analyst of the show.

The show broadcast highlights of NHL games and give previews of upcoming games. The show was canceled in 2004 after ESPN chose not to rival the bid to broadcast NHL games, which were won by OLN (now Versus) .
ESPNEWS now provides expanded segments for Barry Melrose, usually on Thursday nights, to analyze NHL action.
