Nguyen Tu Quang

Nguyễn Tử Quảng (born May 11, 1975 in Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province, Vietnam) is the director of Bachkhoa Internetwork Security Centre (BKIS) - a government funded centre for research and development in computer security at Hanoi University of Technology. He is the author of the first Vietnamese antivirus software - Bkav, which is nowadays one of the most popular antivirus softwares in Vietnam. In 1989, he attend the Hanoi National University of Education high school, where he studied in mathematics class. From 1992 to 1997, Nguyễn Tử Quảng continued his studies in computer science at Hanoi University of Technology (in Vietnamese: Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội). During that time, he and his friends wrote Bach Khoa Antivirus (Bkav), which at once received good feedback from the Vietnamese users. After graduate, he becomes a lecturer of the university. In 2001, he becomes the director of the centre. He is now considered one of the most prominent experts in the field of network security in Vietnam.
