Nguyễn Sinh Hùng is currently the First Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam. Born in 1946, he was confirmed by the National Assembly on June 28, 2006.
Hung holds a PhD in economics. At the 10th National Party Congress he was elected to the powerful 14 man Politburo. In June 2006 he was appointed the First Deputy Prime Minister, receiving recognition for his achievements as the Minister of Finance presiding over one of the fastest growing economies of the world.
