Thanks for uploading Image:LakeheadUniversity2.JPG. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:LakeheadUniversity2.jpg. This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 03:45, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lakehead University
I noticed you're doing some edits to Lakehead University and I want to give you a couple tips. First, find references. If you see any links that look like this: [1], try to make it into a reference. See WP:CITE
Also, for the styling and formatting of the article, look to better examples like University of Toronto to see how they are written, to improve the LU article.
Keep up the good work. Vidioman 19:36, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
When altering the infobox, use this page as a reference: Template:Infobox University

Thank you for the tips Vidioman. Much appreciated. Nganga2 21:32, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
If you can find a source you can add that one line back into the article. As long as there is a source, it isn't libelous. Preferably a news site or human rights watchdog site.
In response to the anonymous person who left me the above message: I cannot find any references to this specific case, or to Mr. Spencer Rowe anywhere on the Ontario Human Rights Commission website. A report dated June 2006 on that OHRC website does mention a case involving the Lakehead School District Board (not LU) and that case had been settled. There was some mention of Mr. Rowe's intent to file a complaint on a few internet discussion boards, but I don't consider comments on discussion boards suitable references for use in Wikipedia articles. It is unclear from my internet search, where Mr. Rowe's complaint with Lakehead University currently stands, or if a complaint was launched with the Commission. When this matter first came up on Wikipedia, the reference provided linked readers to the a student newspaper Argus article. That link became inactive and was subsequently deleted. [edit] Commercial use of Image:Gl lg 2.jpg
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Gl lg 2.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Gl lg 2.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Gl lg 2.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 19:07, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lakehead University Summer Campus images
Hi there. I notice that you've uploaded an image from the Wikimedia Commons (Image:Lakehead University Summer Campus.jpg) to the local server here at the English Wikipedia (as Image:Lakehead University Summer Campus2.jpg). This is unnecessary: all images on the Commons can be linked to here in the same way as local images. You might like to read Help:Images and other uploaded files and Wikipedia:Extended image syntax if you're having trouble with the syntax.
The copy at Commons is available to all Foundation projects and so is more useful. You can tag the two local copies for deletion, using {{Db-author}}. Staeckerbot (see above) may also detect and tag the copies as duplicates. — mholland (talk) 18:58, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks Vidioman. The Facts and Stats section should be integrated perhaps with new sections created for common themes. I will add this to my to-do list. Nganga2 (talk) 20:00, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Great. :) Don't forget to look at other university articles to see what other people have done in the past. :) vıdıoman (talk • contribs) 20:18, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
