Is there anything to suggest the show will be titled "The NFL on NBC" when it returns next year? Seems to me it will carry on the "Sunday Night Football" name that ESPN introduced. Kirjtc2 9 July 2005 00:40 (UTC)

I guess The NFL on NBC is the title they used before The NFL on CBS took over the rights to broadcast AFC games, so for now it seems good to give it that name. Yes, it seems like they are gonna call it NBC Sunday Night Football, or something similar. Mike Francesa of WNBC-TV has called it Sunday Night Football on his TV program. 2004-12-29T22:45Z July 9, 2005 03:41 (UTC)

I'm sure that Randy Edelman's theme was based on his theme from Brisco County. 71.111.215.224 22:32, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Randy Edelman's Brisco County theme was only been used for NBC's Major League Baseball coverage (circa 1996-mid 1998), the Olympic previews, and the 1999 Tournament of Americas basketball series. The link for the NFL on NBC theme composed by Edelman absolutely isn't the same as his theme for Brisco County. TMC1982 29 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Identification Question

Are Gayle Sierens and Gayle Gardener one and the same? If so, one of these entries needs to go.
