NFL Tour is an arcade football video game that was released on January 8, 2008. It was developed under the EA Sports BIG division of EA Sports, which is also responsible for such titles as SSX, NBA Street, NFL Street, and the FIFA Street games. During the fall of 2007, there was a fan vote to decide which current NFL player will be on the cover, the voting was a three-way battle between Dwight Freeney of the Indianapolis Colts, Jason Taylor of the Miami Dolphins and Shawne Merriman of the San Diego Chargers. Shawne Merriman was named the cover athlete. The game could be considered a successor to the NFL Street franchise but converted to the new hardware (PS3 / Xbox 360). Trey Wingo from ESPN is included in the game as the "host".
