Neyyappam

Neyyappam is a south Indian speciality more found in Kerala. These are rice pancakes fried in Ghee. Made out of Rice flour, Jaggery, banana, sugar etc formed to a batter and then fried in Ghee.
Neyyappam derived from "Neyy" means Ghee and "appam" means pancake.
This is given as prasadham in Krishna temples in Kerala.
