"Next Best Superstar" is the first single released from the album Beautiful Intentions by former Spice Girl, Melanie C. It was released in the UK on April 4 2005, reaching number-ten. In the UK, 18,124 copies of Next Best Superstar were sold during its chart run. The single reached number forty-three in Australia, making it the highest debut of a new independent artist at that time. The song reached the top of the Germany's radio airplay chart and was awarded as Best Internetional Hit at the 2005's German Radio Awards.
