- April 29, 2003 - Nexon Korea officially opens Korea MapleStory (kMS).
- August 2003 - Nexon Japan begins Japan MapleStory (JMS) beta phase with the first server Kaede being opened.
- November 21, 2003 - Nexon Japan officially opens Japan MapleStory (JMS) with the opening of the Momiji server.
