Nexaweb is an American software company based in Burlington, Massachusetts. It provides a software platform called the Nexaweb Enterprise Web 2.0 Suite for building, deploying and maintaining Ajax and Java Rich Internet Applications. Nexaweb has been one of the pioneers in RIA since its inception. Coach Wei, the founder and current CTO found the company with a mission to deliver Web applications that were as powerful and rich as a desktop application. "Richer - Thinner - Faster" was Nexaweb's earliest tag line denoting its desire to revamp how users engaged with Web applications.
Nexaweb's development methodology is to supply a product with the easiest possible means for developing applications. Markup + POJO is the way that developers create their application. This means that developers can build their applications as they would be any other web application.
[edit] Open Source
Nexaweb is involved with the XAP project in the Apache Software Foundation incubator. XAP is an Ajax client that uses the Declarative Markup Language + JavaScript development methodology to create applications.
