[edit] About Me

Am from Newtownards and dislike people adding Irish names to UK towns.

Like or dislike it, they will stay in Northern Ireland towns. The community consensus stated in WP:IMOS allows for them to be there. The rest of the Wikipedia community accepts them, if you don't like it then start a discussion on it. The relevant section of the manual of style is here. Please read and welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Viewfinder 22:45, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

You have not cited any sources. But even if the claim that the UK government has spent £3 billion on Iraq is verifiable, the money has been spent by the Ministry of Defence, not the Chancellor. It is the Chancellor's job to raise money and allocate it to government departments. It is then up to those departments to spend the money. Viewfinder 23:11, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] An Automated Message from HagermanBot

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 01:19, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] legal threats

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Some of your recent edits have been reverted as they have been considered to contain legal threats or claims of legal action against editors of Wikipedia, or Wikipedia itself. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Natalie 15:30, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Please do not make legal threats or claims of legal action against users or Wikipedia itself on Wikipedia. If you have a genuine dispute with the Community or its members, please use dispute resolution. Thank you. Natalie 15:42, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

If you continue to make legal threats, you will be blocked. Natalie 15:50, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] You message to User:Natalie

I'm guessing this message is to me, as User:Natalie hasn't contacted you in any way and, in fact, does not exist. If you would like to leave me a message in the future, click on my name in my signature and then click on the tab that says "discussion". In answer to your question, an email address to contact Wikipedia can be found on the main page. However, you should note that your actions are probably not endearing you to the Wikipedia community. Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Natalie 15:54, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Irish

I have no idea what law you think you're citing, but it doesn't apply to the English Wikipedia, which is based in the US, in Florida. See also Natalie's very good advice on No legal threats - you can be blocked indefinately for making them. Yours seem more silly than threatening, and they are pointless as well, as they don't apply. If you have a content dispute (which this is) please discuss on the article talk page rather than revert warring. Thanks - KillerChihuahua?!? 18:13, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Northern Ireland towns and cities do not have irish in them so why should wikipedia has it as a rule. What about having german on every UK towns and cities and then having Arabic for all United States of America towns and cities. Its the same reason why these are not the case.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Newtownards (talkcontribs) 21:51, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Take this to the article talk page, as I have already advised you. This is a content dispute. I am not part of the content dispute. You are wasting your time and mine by trying to sway me, since I don't even edit the article in question. KillerChihuahua?!? 21:56, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
