Sorry about that. The most recent vandalism hadn't shown up in the contrib history yet. When I saw the article history and that there had been another one, I blocked for the usual 24 hours. Daniel Case (talk) 22:56, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks! Newtman (talk) 23:09, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Alpha Epsilon Pi

The relationship between fraternity rituals and Masonic ones is well known. It's not an AEPi thing, just a fraternity thing.

Hmm....I'm not sure an editorial about how to increase Mason membership is the best pointer to how fraternities and the Masons are related. Especially with such a small mention about the relationship. Newtman (talk) 02:38, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Andromeda (band)

The first two releases in the discography section are on Century Media Records, which seems to be an important independent metal label. The band thus meets WP:MUSIC criterion #5 for musicians and ensembles, that the band has released two or more albums on an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable. I agree the article could use more information and better sourcing, but it appears that the band is notable and shouldn't be speedy-deleted. Rigadoun (talk) 17:25, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

I agree, based on those metrics, it is notable, no argument. As it's champion, perhaps you can add those facts to the article, so that they're more apparent :) Newtman (talk) 19:07, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Marin Academy

You know, I honestly can't remember where I came across the notion that schools are inherently notable. It's just one of those things that I just always thought was the case. Maybe it's from this, which was apparently removed from the proposal recently. ... discospinster talk 19:58, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Cool, thanks for following up, I hadn't run across that before. Cheers! Newtman (talk) 20:12, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
