[edit] University of Dayton Ghetto

Wow, you've been busy! Removing the tags can be done by anyone, really, but it's better to let someone "outside" the page do it. I changed the top tag to one requesting additional sources (since everything is sourced from the school's newspaper). There's never been a mention of the Ghetto in even a local newspaper? I would think there would be something out there. The OR tag pretty much has to stand unless you can find a reference about all those houses names. Also, I did a little shuffling: I moved the "Darkside/Holy Angels" section above the "Features" section because Darkside gets mentioned in Features; it doesn't seem to mess up the article's flow at all. And I made subsections for the list of Frat houses + Unique houses.

I hope you aren't bummed out about the tags staying; hopefully they'll attract the attention of another editor who can supply additional information (and you won't get stuck with all the work. Anyway, great job! Closenplay 21:55, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

I forgot to address your question about the anonymous IP editor. Possible avenues for you to explore: WP:3RR or WP:PPOL. I would recommend, however, that unless the edits are appearing more than once a day (I mean, I know they did today, but for a few days in a row), that you simply "watch" the page (as I imagine you already do) and just revert them as they occur. It's simple to do, and less of a hassle. Eventually the person will get bored and give up. (Or they will escalate things and you can have them blocked; either way, you win.) I'll leave a comment hidden by the list, warning people not to add more houses. Good luck! Closenplay 00:14, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Also, the article really could use some photos. Can you or someone you know get some photos of some of the buildings mentioned in the article? (McGinnis Center, maybe a frat house or "The Castle", things like that.) Two or three photos would help the article immensely, I think. Closenplay 01:12, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dayton Ghetto

Yes, you can remove tags if you believe that the problem has been fixed. In this particular case, the article appears to have sufficient sources and/or references. If you come across a situation where you believe a problem is fixed and another editor disagrees (or vice versa) I would suggest asking an outside opinion at WP:3O.

With respect to the IP address editor, you could start by talking to him (e.g. pointing out our policies with respect to citation, as well as conflict of interest). Should this fail to resolve anything, you can request for the page to be (semi-) protected (WP:RFPP), or if the editor is problematic you can request blocks (WP:AIV or pages linked from there). Happy editing! >Radiant< 11:05, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
