[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!
Hello NewmanSociety, welcome to Wikipedia!
I noticed nobody had said hi yet... Hi!
If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.
You might like some of these links and tips:

- Find out how to revert, move and merge pages.
- Sign your posts on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~).
- Add yourself to the New user log and a regional notice board
- Ask questions at the Village pump or Help desk.
- Use the Show preview button
- Provide an Edit summary
- Add the correct image copyright tag to any images you upload
- Take a look at Consensus of standards
- Create a User page
- Be bold
If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alf melmac 16:45, 19 September 2005 (UTC).
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Newmandinner05.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Newmandinner05.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Newman Society
Please stop deleting the link from the Newman article to the 'other' Oxford-based Newman Society. Your gripe with that society may or may not be justified (it's difficult to tell, because neither side is willing to produce comprehensive, verifiable detail). However, it doesn't justify vandalism of this kind. The other society exists, it has a connection with Newman and it's Oxford-based. The link is therefore justified. I suggest you take a deep breath and step back for a while. Countersubject 11:59, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:HarmanDM3103 468x529.jpeg
Thank you for uploading Image:HarmanDM3103 468x529.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Mosmof (talk) 13:32, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
