[edit] Re: User talk:Ioeth#Speedy Delete : Joshua Hempstead

The reason that I deleted the page was because it was text that had been copy-pasted from a page on CT Heritage's website. There was no assertion of permission to copy the text on that page, so the article was in violation of WP:COPY. You can feel free to create an article about Joshua Hempstead, but it has to be in your own words, or permission to use a copyrighted work must be asserted. Leave a message on my talk page if you have any more questions! Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 17:09, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

The page is not the same as the Bruce Stark article. Allthough Bruce Stark is a member of the New London County Historical Society, this article was written by another member, past president and Hempstead authority. Please reconsider. We are just trying to get information out about an important part of local history. Thanks! --Newlondonhistorypeople 21:21, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
