- No, actually articles should not be deleted after a merge. This is to make sure the authorship information is kept stored in the page history (a licensing requirement). Instead set up a redirect from the article you merged from to the article you merged into. Let me know if you have any questions. Petros471 23:58, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
