The term 'NewsPod' seems pretty ignorant - like Interweb. Apparently an attempt to combine 'news' with 'podcast' - but 'podcast' = 'iPod' + 'broadcast'. So 'NewsPod' means a 'news iPod', i.e. a type of iPod, not a type of broadcast.
'News' + 'podcast' should be either the traditional 'newscast' or possibly 'podnews' (i.e. iPod news). Ben Finn 21:05, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
