probably should be mentioning how much of the UD was in the Milton Keynes designated new town, and also the population increase from 6,000 in 1971 to howevermuch today. Morwen - Talk 22:46, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Agree. Interestingly, Newport Pagnell Rural District did not include Newport, so it will not be easy to disentangle. --Concrete Cowboy 14:29, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

The article does actually say that the Office of National Statistics considers it to be joined and does not draw that distinction itself. -- Roleplayer 18:36, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
