I'm pretty sure this is referring to the Newark Castle in Nottinghamshire. (see http://www.newarkadvertiser.co.uk/notts/tourism/castle.htm.) Yet, it is linked from the page on Inverclyde, which is in Scotland (and where I live.) There is a Newark castle here, in Port Glasgow, but it is NOT the one that this page is describing.

I suggest a disambiguation page, but I'm not willing to do it myself in case I've just got the wrong end of the stick regarding the two castles.

[edit] Newark Castle Civil War Trail

Newark Castle is really a stronghold for the English Civil War during 1645-1649. It encounted three bloody sieges with sword and gunpowder.
