Talk:New atheist

This term is rapidly gaining currency. I'll go reference mining when I get a chance. Starting-point to search for primary sources to support the assertions of the 2nd paragraph

The only person that I remember using the term "anti thesist" is Christifor Hitchens, not Richard Dawkins. And he used in to mean that 1) He doesn't believe in god and 2) He's quite glad there is no god. If someone else can confirm this, could they please correct article. - I've heard and seen Dawkins self-identify as an anti-theist. A quick Google verifies that he is commonly called that. I'll try to dig out one of the interviews where he self-identifies as such. EmmetCaulfield 20:57, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] NPOV
The second paragraph needs to be removed. It exerts opinions, not facts. --71.123.229.201 23:02, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Merge
I believe this article effectively duplicates the topic of Antitheism#The_New_Activism, so I have been bold and merged and redirected it there. If you disagree, please discuss it on Talk:Antitheism. Terraxos (talk) 02:12, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
