So what is the purpose of this article and why doesn't it list any endemic birds? --121.73.5.55 09:36, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

I think it should be an article and not a list. The lists, and the info about endemic, introduced etc should be incorporated into List of New Zealand birds. Nurg 09:34, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

I agree. It should be obvious that listing birds here and on a specialized list article is redundant. This should be prose only, with no lists. Richard001 (talk) 00:02, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
