[edit] Change of Intersection Template, and addition to Southern Terminus

This article was changed to bring its intersection template to the NYint format. In addition, the notation of the actual road in New Jersey was added to the southern terminus via Google Earth (no county route number was detectable). It is important to verify, update and/or correct as necessary. Fwgoebel 05:27, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] GA review

GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
Needs maintenance tags and maybe other pre-GA checklist items.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
Link for ref 8 (NY state legislature) doesn't work. I keep meaning to bring this up, but I forget.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
It might help to say how long the road was before its truncation, but that's your call as an editor.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
It needs a map. The shield in the existing image could be lightened in Photoshop so it can be seen better.
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

Let me know when you've made the changes. Thanks! —Rob (talk) 02:22, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

I cannot fix the ref 8, because there is no way around it. Maint added, will request map.Mitch32contribs 02:27, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
That's strange. Is that a server on accessible from New York ISPs or something? In any case, if not everyone can access the link, it should be pointed to a public server, or removed. —Rob (talk) 02:49, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
I've found that the NYS Legislature site is flaky at best in terms of when it's available. During weekdays, it seems to work fine but at night or on the weekends it seems as if the folks in Albany shut off the servers. [1] is a site that serves the same purpose, even if the presentation is a little messier. – TMF 05:08, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
All right. Well, so long as a map is being requested, the article meets GA requirements. —Rob (talk) 15:00, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Yes, there is a request up currently.Mitch32contribs 15:02, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
