Anybody know if this road will be renumbered once 86 is finished and 17 truncated? Since it would be a long way from Route 17, that would make sense. Of course, everyone locally has known it as 17C since forever. Daniel Case 04:17, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Based on what happened to all of the spur routes of NY 18 when it was truncated from Salamanca to Lewiston, I think it's safe to say that NY 17C will be renumbered. What that number would be, I'm not sure. --TMF ^{Let's Go Mets - Stats} 21:41, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
