[edit] Question on County Routes
I noticed the junctions listed some county routes. However, there are several other county routes that have junctions with 115. Should we list them as well? Smartyshoe 13:08, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- My guess is that the ones that are included were the ones listed in the NYSDOT traffic counts, which is where we derive our mileposts from. My stance is that we shouldn't add any more, but (1) I'm against listing county routes in junction lists in the first place for the most part and (2) county routes are quickly being considered non-notable (see WP:N/HWY). --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 15:50, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yup, TMF has it correct. The ones I placed (in addition to CR 75) were the ones in the traffic counts listing (which I assume are ones where there is a significant ADT change). --Polaron | Talk 15:54, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Salt Point Turnpike
There must be SOME history to the Salt Point Turnpike as a turnpike road. Could someone who knows more about its history expand it? Mbisanz (talk) 04:45, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- I live in the area, but no nothing about it as a turnpike. try google.Smartyllama (talk) 16:44, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
