The 2007 "collapse" reference has nothing to do with the 19th Century New York Metropolitans. Quote: "I'm going to to be a Yankee Fan from now on" says former met fan Ullman Simaputang. "The collapse was horrible. I am scared for life!! I mean for 2007, how does one team collapse being up 7 games with 17 games to go? By far the worst collapse in baseball history", he later added. Unlike the Mets, the Yankees make the playoffs all the time. And i like to wear pizzas in my shoe too..and i love wearing diapers on my head, riding camels in deserts." Wow.
