[edit] Uncited claim regarding anti-American sentiment
Although New York was at one time expected to benefit from sympathy arising from the September 11 terrorist attacks, this potential advantage is believed to have been countered by both a lack of enthusiasm from New Yorkers and anti-American sentiment arisen from the 2003 Iraq war.
This had been tagged as uncited since February 2007, and it's a pretty bold claim to be making without a source, so I removed it. Feel free to put it back if a source is found. --clpo13 08:01, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the whole thing is pretty much unsourced. But such a bold claim, yes, should probably be removed. └Jared┘┌t┐ 12:24, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
yea, it should have been removed...although it was probably true; damn anti-americans. Travis Cleveland (talk) 21:59, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
